Rain go away

Wow, has it been a drizzly spring; the damp has been holding back the wool drying, so the mill is a bit behind. Gives me more time to make crazy superwash blends, though! Dyeing up lots of odds and ends to make some space; all the winter puppies are mostly gone now so the space crunch is easing up.
As soon as the sun comes out I am going to do some hoodie dyeing, some banana silk; even going to try my hand at some cotton dyeing for a friend.
Got a HUGE lots of Rambouillet in the other day, and I am going to make some batts/rugs soon; my felting table should be in this month!!

Here it is March 18th; my twin daughters has a birthday yesterday; 30 years old. When did that happen? they were just toddlers a couple of days ago..

Got some new pencil roving packages done today, and had a blast dyeing up some more Wens locks over the past couple of days. The September Morning turned out very intense, I like it.

Most of the snow is gone at last, and I am busily cleaning up the lawn bombs the dogs have left for me over the winter. Tooooooo many dogs!

A brand new year

So much has happened, I don't think I can fit it all in! 2 new grandsons, Cain and Simon, such a crazy busy year, and we finally have our new spinning equipment in. Marc has been working hard on it (I am afraid to touch it, machines don't like me) and is trying all kinds of new stuff. He is currently making some Decadent yarn, which is 50% Superwash, 30% Silk and 20% Seacell; it's amazing. I think I will try it first undyed, and then when the weather is better start doing some crazy colours. We also have some varicoloured mohair/superwash 50/50 on the machine that is sooo soft. C'mon sun, I want to go outside and play in my dyepots!
